Make videos by chatting

No installation — everything runs in your browser. Choose from 67 full-film styles in Claude or ChatGPT. Say “make me a video”, pick a style, answer 3 questions, and get an MP4. Preview length is not your video's length.

Claude — add the connector

No installation — everything runs in your browser. The widget makes your MP4 and lets you download it.

  1. Open Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector (older clients: Settings → Connectors).
  2. Name it Shotcraft, paste this URL, choose No sign in, and finish adding it.
    https://shotcraft.cielverse.com/mcp
  3. Enable Shotcraft in your chat’s connectors menu and say “make me a video”.

Workspace accounts may need an owner to add the connector. Official Claude instructions.

ChatGPT — add the connector

No installation — everything runs in your browser. Turn your chat content into a video: pick a style, answer 3 questions, then download your MP4. No second upload needed for text the AI already knows.

  1. Open Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Shotcraft, add a description and paste the URL. Choose no authentication, review the connection warning, then create and install the plugin.
    https://shotcraft.cielverse.com/mcp
  3. In a new chat, type @, select Shotcraft and say “make me a video”.

Older interfaces: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → Developer mode → Create. Account and workspace permissions apply. Official OpenAI instructions.

The AI can pass text already read or written in your chat directly to Shotcraft. That text travels through the connector; project files are not retained on the server. In ChatGPT, which blocks videos made inside the widget, the finished MP4 is kept on the server for 1 hour so it can play and download. Adding original page images in the widget is optional: files stay in your browser, and “Use these files” shares a text summary with the chat. Keep the widget open while rendering. Some browser effects look different from the desktop version.
